Christ Care Small Groups

Christ Care small groups are usually comprised of 6-12 people who meet together either weekly or twice a month. While each group will have a unique focus, all groups will engage in four essentials: Support and Nurture, Worship and Prayer, Biblical Equipping, and Missional Service in addition to the core activity of the group. With a trained Christ Care leader, this small-group experience deepens your experience of God, builds friendships in lasting community, and leads the way in serving others.

Some of our new groups include:

The Cutting Edge: Exploring a Faith that Makes a Difference, led by Ron Dunn, Fridays at 6:30 A.M. What does it mean to be a follower of Jesus in the 21st century? In what ways do we need to re-think our faith in order to experience its relevance and power? In what ways do we need to re-invent ourselves as disciples and as a community of disciples? These are the central questions that underlie our Friday morning discussions. BYOC (Bring your own coffee!)
Stages of Faith, led by Victoria da Roza, Sundays at 11 A.M. We are urged to grow up and develop a mature faith. This class will help us look at the six “stages of faith,” as developed by James Fowler. We will see which stage we are in and consider how dependent our current stage of faith is to other things happening in our lives now and in the past. This study will help us understand and appreciate our own faith journey, and the journeys of others, and will show us how to relate to each other as we grow in faith.
