There are three services on Sunday: ![]()
8:15 a.m. A small, traditional service in the sanctuary
9:30 a.m. Traditional service in the sanctuary, while Sunday School for all ages takes place in the classrooms in Wesley Center and other classrooms.
11:00 a.m. A contemporary service held in Wesley Center - Fellowship Hall
Between services coffee, tea, juice, and bagels are available.
Dress: For Sunday services, most of the women in the church wear dresses, skirts or slacks. The men can be found in everything from a coat and tie to more casual attire like slacks and a shirt. Please know that you are welcome no matter what you wear.
Our facility is fully accessible for people with physical constraints. We also have large print hymnals available and headphones for those with hearing difficulties. The words to hymns are projected on a large screen during the 11:00 a.m. service.
Communion is served the first Sunday of every month, at the 8:15 and 9:30 services; the second Sunday of every month at the 11:00 service. We are served communion at the front of the church, taking the bread, and dipping it in the cup. Everyone is welcome at the communion table. Tell an usher if you wish to be served communion at your seat.
Get Involved by joining a small group. You can find groups by looking under Group Ministries: Christ Care Groups. For continuing and monthly activities, read The Valley Messenger. Be sure to read the Mini-Messenger, given out at the services, for up to date activities and calendar. Also, for an overview of all groups, review the annual Compass. Feel free to explore more at this site or call the church office at (925) 837-5243.
